Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, deliver exceptional guest service, and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
  • Uphold food safety regulations at all times, ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients
  • Manage stock levels and notify supervisors of supply needs
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods
  • Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or kitchen roles is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
  • Good communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to perform basic maths accurately for order processing and inventory checks
  • Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
  • A proactive approach to learning new skills and working as part of a team
