Role Description

This is a bank on-site role for a Senior Night Care Assistant based in Bath. The Senior Care Assistant will support individuals with their daily living activities and personal care needs, promoting their independence and dignity. Key responsibilities will include medication administration, providing specialized care for individuals with dementia, assisting with mobility and manual handling, and establishing meaningful relationships through effective communication. This role also involves working as part of a team to uphold the highest standards of care and promote a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Manual Handling practices to ensure safe assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to establish meaningful relationships and foster a positive environment
  • Experience in Dementia Care with a compassionate understanding of the needs of those living with dementia
  • Proven expertise in Caregiving, including offering daily living support while promoting dignity and independence
  • Empathetic, patient, and dedicated approach to providing care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an on-site care setting
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or above) and prior experience in a similar role are advantageous
