Location – Orpington

Overview
We are currently looking for a Personal Lines Broker Support to join our professional and welcoming team in Orpington.
Brown & Brown Orpington provide specialist products to Personal and Commercial clients throughout the UK. We have sustained one of the highest customer satisfaction and retention rates within the industry by focusing on the precise needs of our clients.
The position of Broker support is a key role and requires a professional and business-like approach. You will need knowledge of the insurance industry and associated personal lines products alongside a full understanding of the sales and compliance procedures.
We focus heavily on training and development and a full induction and training plan will be provided to successful applicants.
Day to day
General administration and handler support duties in relation to but not restricted to:
- Insurance document processing (manual, online and in-house systems).
- Client and insurer correspondence.
- Managerial support administration.
- Diary maintenance – team and individual.
- Sales support.
- Renewals support.
- Spreadsheet and report maintenance.
- General office functions.
- Maintain office filing systems.
In and outbound call handing and customer services in relation to but not restricted to:
- Insurance queries.
- Processing adjustments.
- Accepting payments.
- Direct debit account management.
- Document re issue.
- Claims.
- Financial accounts and debt control
- Cross selling products.
- Advising Manager of any backlog in work in a timely manner.
- Advising Manager of any debt recovery problems or contentious issues in a timely manner.

Your Experience
- Insurance Broking experience or transferrable skills from other business sectors
- Negotiation skills Effective communication - both written and verbal
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- High level customer service skills
- Time management and organisational skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
