Eye England, United Kingdom Allied Health Professionals Suffolk CIC Full time £60,000 - £120,000 per year

AHP Suffolk CIC Services

Allied Health Professionals Suffolk's approval to become a social enterprise following a staff 'Right to Request' to the Department of Health (DH) was announced in November 2010 and the company has operated independently as a community interest company (CIC) since July 2011.

We hold our main contracts with the two large hospitals in Suffolk. These and other contracts comprise around £8m income per annum and are for the provision of NHS-funded community-based musculoskeletal physiotherapy.  We have specialist back and neck services and a specialist pelvic health service.

We operate our clinics across the breadth of Suffolk with our headquarters in Eye, near Diss. We have around 140 staff who are split between clinical and administrative teams and we are very proud of our ability to recruit and retain staff in a challenging healthcare environment. We enjoy high levels of staff and patient satisfaction and work hard to continually listen to feedback to improve our services.

We also provide digital access and patient administration services to other providers of community health services across the east and into London. This is mainly delivered through our digital portal U Refer. U Refer is a software package used to manage patients' self-referral to services in healthcare. Using a web portal, patients complete a health questionnaire which once clinically triaged, leads to the ability to manage care, appointments and patient communications seamlessly.

AHP Suffolk's vision, aims, values and strategy

Our company vision is to provide outstanding healthcare through collaboration and innovation on behalf of the NHS.

Our aim and purpose as a staff-led social enterprise is to provide high-quality, consistent, safe, accessible NHS healthcare, free at the point of need, to help people return to optimal health, and stay healthy. We work in partnership with our communities, partners and commissioners to develop a continually-improving range of services to meet needs effectively, efficiently and sustainably.

Our philosophy:

· Ensuring patient's needs are at the centre of everything we do

· Delivering evidence-based, high-quality care and treatment

· Developing a responsive, needs-based service, focused on the delivery of individualised patient care that retains dignity and respect for all

· Providing our staff with the means to maintain the highest standards of professional development

· Acting with pride and integrity, being open and honest and enjoying our work.

Our 5 year strategy is to:

Retain and Grow: Expand our people and services to deliver care locally and nationally within MSK and more broadly within community services.

Working in Partnership: Support urgent, primary and secondary care services with expert clinicians and subject matter experts. Become integrated as an integral partner of the ICS.

Sustainable and Stable: Make sound strategic investment decisions through protecting our assets and optimising the estate.

Digital by Design: Use digital technologies at the core of our delivery and developments.

Socially Impactful: Ensuring our social values underpin everything we do as a Community Interest Company.

Through the following deliverables:

Best Practice: Using subject matter expertise, deliver outstanding patient experience and outcomes. Actively evidence clinical innovation and research across our specialties.

Our People: Invest in a positive culture and leadership, resulting in a sustainable, fulfilled team, supporting growth, recruitment and retention.

Partner of Choice: Remain trusted and respected by our patients and partners in delivering innovative and collaborative solutions.

Financial Resilience and Responsibility: Maintain a positive financial position, enabling development, purposeful and sustainable transformation and enterprise
