Head of Spa Education and Mobile Therapy

About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Spa Education & Mobile Therapy to build and lead Tropic's national mobile spa training programme from the ground up. This senior hire will shape the future of how our ambassadors deliver luxury, results-driven facials in people's homes, blending professional therapy standards with Tropic's unique skincare philosophy.

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role.

You will:

• Design and deliver best-in-class facial training programmes, equipping our ambassadors to confidently offer at-home facial services.
• Act as the face of mobile spa education, delivering content on camera with confidence and energy.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Ambassador teams to align education with campaigns, product launches, and ambassador needs.
• Contribute to the development of new professional products, formulas, tools, and accessories specifically designed for our ambassadors, shaping a professional range that elevates the at-home facial experience.
• Build and lead a team of regional spa trainers, ensuring a consistent, inspiring learning experience nationwide.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously evolve Tropic's national facial training curriculum, ensuring it's scientifically robust, innovative, and aligned with brand values.
• Deliver dynamic in-person and digital training sessions with clarity, warmth, and authority.
• Keep a sharp eye on industry trends, facial techniques, and customer preferences to ensure Tropic's offering remains best in class.
• Partner with Product and Marketing teams to translate product science into compelling, practical training content.
• Serve as a trusted educator and mentor to ambassadors, creating a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Recruit, train, and manage a national network of trainers as the mobile therapy service scales.
• Gather ambassador feedback to refine training and ensure the programme remains deeply relevant and impactful.

What we're looking for

• Fully qualified beauty therapist, with extensive hands-on experience delivering professional facials.
• Minimum 8–10 years' experience in the beauty/spa industry, ideally including education or training roles.
• Outstanding communicator, comfortable presenting both live and on camera.
• Deep product knowledge and ideally a scientific or ingredient-focused background.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to design scalable training programmes.
• Passionate about empowering others - particularly ambassadors, through education and hands-on skill development.
• Energetic, inquisitive, and tuned into beauty and wellness trends.
• Willing and excited to travel nationwide on a regular basis.
