Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Duties

  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to assess electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and modifications to existing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using an ohmmeter for testing electrical components is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
