Data Analyst

  • Demonstrable experience within data management or operations in an Asset/Investment Manager role.
  • A good understanding of all investment data and ESG data.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data input and management thereof.
  • An understanding of an IBOR (worked on a relevant system) and how it works and is used by the business.
  • Experience of dealing with internal teams, including investment, performance, and compliance.
  • Skilled use and ability of MS Office, ideally in Microsoft Excel (more training could be provided).
  • A strong academic track record with general proficiency in Maths and English.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills.
  • Conscientious with a view to looking to progress within a team and organisation.
  • A real desire to understand the business we are in, and an enthusiasm for the asset management industry.
  • An individual who will ask questions and challenge processes to seek a better outcome.
  • Any experience in financial services is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Good conduct that is consistent with the LPPI values-aligned behaviours.
  • A team player who can interact confidently across the business.
  • The ability to work through complex problems and challenges to provide innovative insights and solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated team player who can manage a high personal workload with multiple deadlines.
  • An ability to "roll up the sleeves" if necessary.
  • A willingness to go above and beyond what is typically required on the job, along with the ability to think critically and provide thoughtful support.
  • Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
