Role Description

We are seeking a Family Solicitor (NQ+) to join our team. You could be newly qualified, returning to work after a break, or looking to pivot into family law. You will work closely with our experienced family lawyer and gain all the experience you need to grow your career in family law. The role involves advising and representing clients in family law matters, including divorces, children, finance, and consent orders. Additional responsibilities include drafting legal documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. The solicitor will also be required to liaise with clients, counsel and attend court hearings, and provide professional legal advice to ensure excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • 25 hours per week over 4/5 days
  • Supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Office Hours 8.30am – 5pm (Monday to Thursday) 9am-3pm (Friday). Actual working hours to be discussed.
