The role we are hiring for is a Fire Safety Consultant to join our team based in Oxfordshire with travel across the country. You'll be visiting client sites nationwide, carrying out professional fire risk assessments across a variety of settings and using your expertise to help ensure safety and compliance.

What you receive for joining us

We are looking to offer a salary in the range of £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience. In addition, we will make sure you have everything you need to do your job well. You will receive a company car or car allowance along with all the essentials including a company phone, laptop, and equipment needed to carry out your role effectively. When working away from home, all expenses are fully covered including meal allowances and paid hotel accommodation. On top of that, you will enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also get your birthday off every year.

Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing

  • Conducting fire risk assessments across a variety of commercial and residential buildings in line with current legislation
  • Producing clear, detailed reports with recommendations and remedial actions using internal systems and Microsoft Word
  • Providing professional fire safety advice to clients and supporting them with compliance requirements
  • Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure assessments are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards

Can you show experience in some of these areas

  • Recognised Level 3 or 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (IFE, IFSM, FPA, or equivalent)
  • Experience conducting fire risk assessments with a strong knowledge of active and passive fire protection systems
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and written communication skills
