An Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Biology Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the living world.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Biology Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Biology examinations.
  • Develop students' understanding of biological concepts and scientific inquiry.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Biology Teacher.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the biology curriculum and resources.
  • Encourage a passion for biology and its applications in the real world.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong biology background.
  • Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Strong and comprehensive knowledge of biological concepts and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Biology.
  • A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
