About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a SEND School in Warrington to help recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

In this rewarding role, you will be supporting pupils accross the whole school, aged between 4-19 years with a range of complex needs including Autism and SLD.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional needs. You will be nurturing, supportive and able to challenge pupils to become independent young adults.

Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3:30pm).

Person Specification
  • Experience of supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs.
  • Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
  • Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
  • Be engaging and using a person-centered approach.
  • Be willing to provide personal care.
  • Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
