Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and practical Landscapers to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that each project is planned and executed to the highest standards. Working collaboratively with your fellow team members, you will uphold our commitment to quality in every aspect of the project. This role involves hands-on work in various landscapes, including residential, and commercial settings. This position demands technical expertise, positive approach to problem solving and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces that exceed our customers expectations.
Responsibilities
- Landscaping Expertise: Execute a diverse range of hard landscaping tasks, such as paving, brickwork, patio laying, decking, fencing, driveways, pergolas and artificial grass, all while ensuring high-quality results.
- Leadership and Guidance:
- Initiate and Problem Solving: Use your initiative to address challenges that arise on site, proposing practical solutions to keep projects running smoothly.
- Equipment Proficiency: Operate and demonstrate proficiency with landscaping tools and machinery. The ability to use of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge.
- Build landscape features such as flower beds, ponds, pathways, or retaining walls as required by projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Construction skills, including carpentry, paving, brickwork, patio laying, decking, fencing, driveways, pergolas and artificial grass installation.
- Relevant certifications in landscaping, groundworks or related fields, is advantageous.
- Physical strength, manual dexterity, and stamina with the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Attention to detail.
- Creativity.
- Proficiency with tools.
- Patience and dedication.
- A valid driver's licence is essential.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and a willingness to learn new skills in landscaping practices.
