We are looking to hire a finance professional to fill the position of Financial Accountant on a temporary basis in our London office.
This will be a day rate contract

Financial Accountant - London
We'll trust you to:
- Prepare the annual statutory financial statements and disclosures for Lazard & Co., Holdings Limited (consolidated) and its UK subsidiaries (standalone), as well as Lazard Asset Management (UK) Holdings Limited (consolidated) and its UK subsidiaries (standalone), utilising IRIS accounts production software
- Engage with external auditors throughout the course of the audit
- Perform iXBRL tagging of financial statements for tax return purposes
- Prepare the Financial Statements and accounting for the Lazard Samaritan Fund
- Perform ad-hoc analysis for internal and external reporting purposes
- Perform ad hoc requests and project work when required
You'll need to have:
- 2 years+ post qualified ACA (or equivalent) experience with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience in the preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting
- Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102)
- PC literate with extensive familiarity of Microsoft Excel, Word
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – articulate and confident, including ability to effectively liaise with various senior stakeholders within the business
- Ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Accuracy and a high attention to detail
- A high level of self-motivation, autonomy, and initiative
- Ability to maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
Nice to have but not essential:
- Experience using IRIS accounts production software or similar
- Experience of multi-currency accounting and consolidations
- Experience using SAP general ledger and Analysis for Office
