Spirehouse are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on behalf of a Public Sector organisation in Cambridge.

The Opportunity

We are urgently seeking an experienced
HR Advisor
for a
6-month fixed-term contract
to support with an organisational change programme.

This role will focus on assisting with change initiatives including
redeployments, restructures, redundancies, and union engagement
.

  • Support the delivery of organisational change projects
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance in line with employment law and internal policy
  • Coordinate and manage timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication for change programmes
  • Partner with HRBPs and senior managers to ensure a smooth transition through periods of change
  • Help facilitate outcomes that are both legally compliant and aligned with organisational goals

  • Location: Hybrid – Cambridge
  • Salary: (£33,000–£35,000)
  • Start: ASAP

Requirements

  • Proven experience in organisational change management
  • Confidence working in unionised environments
  • Strong HR advisory skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations and handle high-pressure change scenarios
