As a Paralegal, youll play a key role in supporting our Legal & Compliance function, helping to ensure our business operates fairly, transparently, and lawfully. Youll work closely with our litigation, compliance, and operational teams to deliver robust legal processes, exceptional client service, and consistent governance standards.

Purpose of the Role

To provide high-quality legal and compliance support across the organisation, with a particular focus on litigation, data protection, and regulatory processes. This role ensures that Intelli-Parks legal matters are managed efficiently, risks are identified and escalated, and all procedures are aligned with best practice and UK legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Support

  • Assist with the conduct of litigation in small claims matters
  • Undertake legal research and investigatory work
  • Draft applications, witness statements, and instructions to counsel
  • Compile, examine, and review evidence packs and court bundles
  • Arrange and attend mediation proceedings
  • Represent the company in judges chambers where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records, case files, systems, and databases
  • Identify high-risk cases and ensure escalation to the Head of Department

Compliance Support

  • Manage data subject access requests (DSARs)
  • Investigate reported data protection and compliance breaches
  • Support both internal and external audits
  • Assist UKPC subsidiaries with regulatory queries, complaints, and investigations
  • Provide general support to the Data Protection Officer and Compliance Coordinator

  • Legal degree
  • Litigation experience
  • Working knowledge of UK Data Protection legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong professional attitude and client-service mindset
  • Ability to work methodically and independently
  • Ability to manage workload proactively and meet court deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Strong IT proficiency

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience in the private parking industry
  • Advocacy experience
