We deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to both NHS and private patients through the Right to Choose pathway.

Our service is expanding nationally and we are proud to combine clinical excellence with compassion and a strong culture of learning and governance.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Quality & Governance Lead to oversee Skylight's quality, compliance and risk activities.

You will ensure that our services meet all CQC Fundamental Standards, NHS contractual obligations and internal policies, and that learning and improvement are embedded across the organisation.

You'll work closely with the Clinical Team Leader, Operations Lead and Clinical Director to maintain effective quality systems, prepare for inspections and audits, and champion best practice in patient safety and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate clinical and operational audits, tracking findings and quality-improvement actions.

Manage complaints, incidents and risk registers, ensuring timely resolution, escalation and learning.

Prepare evidence for CQC inspections, NHS audits and commissioner reports.

Maintain and monitor policies and SOPs, ensuring regular review cycles and version control.

Produce quarterly Quality & Governance Reports for senior management.

Liaise with HR and Operations on training, supervision and compliance.

Promote a culture of openness, accountability and continuous improvement.

About You

Essential

Proven experience working within a CQC-regulated healthcare organisation, with strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and inspection frameworks.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare quality, audit or governance role.

Excellent analytical and report-writing skills, able to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities.

Confident working independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Desirable

Experience in an NHS-contracted or independent mental-health or neurodevelopmental service.

Postgraduate qualification in Quality, Risk or Healthcare Management.

Familiarity with NHS Right to Choose pathways.

Why Join Us

Opportunity to shape quality and governance within a growing national service.

Flexible, remote working and supportive leadership team.

Meaningful, patient-centred work with real social impact.

Commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to building an inclusive culture that values diversity and respects individual differences.

We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of neurodiversity or those passionate about improving outcomes for neurodivergent individuals.
