Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Operator, based in London. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in glass manufacturing, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards. Key daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, demonstrating attention to detail in the handling of materials, performing quality control checks, and maintaining tools and machinery. Effective communication with team members and adherence to health and safety procedures are essential in this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and a solid understanding of Machinery
  • Experience with Quality Control and attention to detail in manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with Hand Tools and the ability to handle equipment safely
  • Strong Communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and commitment to health and safety standards
  • Previous experience in glass or manufacturing industries is advantageous
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machinery operation is a plus
