About the role...

The Alchemist Bar and Restaurant are looking for a passionate, proactive, and organised individual to join our fast-paced marketing team. This is an exciting role, and the successful candidate will play a fundamental role in the day-to-day management of our brand social channels. As a member of our expanding Marketing team, your day-to-day activities will involve the community management of our channels as well as executing the social media strategy for the brand channels, both creating and executing content for the platforms; Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & YouTube with the aim to drive fan growth and increase traffic to site leading to higher booking conversions.

We will expect you to be up to date and savvy with latest social platforms, popular culture and trends. Experience of working in an in-house environment is desired where you will have worked under pressure and managed conflicting demands. The ability to plan, manage and prioritise your workload and to work under your own initiative is essential, as is the ability to work alongside your colleagues on group projects.

Key Relationships:
Reporting into the Head of Marketing and working closely with the wider marketing team and Regional Business Development Managers.

The Role...

  • Work closely with the wider marketing team to create exciting campaigns in line with the wider marketing strategy
  • Measure and analyse performance of brand social channels, implementing improvements
  • Management of all content ensuring on brand, has the correct TOV and call-to-actions.
  • Schedule campaign content captured by the wider marketing team.
  • Organise and manage UGC shoots in the venues, liaising with venue teams.
  • Planning and organising shoot days with photographer / videographer suppliers.
  • Assisting with influencer outreach and management.
  • Community management of guests on our brand channels.
  • Identify new trends in social media, working with tight deadlines to be part of the conversation.
  • Monitor, report and analyse results to improve performance, using the measure function on Brandwatch.
  • Optimise content based on data trends, audience behaviour, and competitor insights.
  • Curate and plan the social media strategy for the business (from research) working closely with the head of marketing.

We are looking for...

  • 2+ years' experience in similar role
  • Passion for social media and thorough knowledge and understanding of all key platforms
  • Social video skills or basic videographer skills would be ideal.
  • Creative flair and an eye for great imagery
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Experience using social content management tools and social listening platforms
  • Microsoft Office Programmes
  • Work Platform (not essential)
