Reporting To: Ecommerce Director
Office Location: The HKX Building, 3 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, U.K.
About Us
We are Havas Market, part of the Havas Media Group. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between people and brands to drive business success — with one vision, one voice and one P&L. Havas is the only truly integrated marketing and communications company in the UK.
Our multi-disciplinary offering brings together advertising, media, data and technology, digital, social, mobile, CRM, UX, sports and entertainment, public relations, corporate communications, healthcare, design, research, employer branding and recruitment — all united under one leadership, in one building.
Havas Market is Havas Media Group's specialist ecommerce agency. We support clients end to end across all their digital retail channels, combining expert execution, powerful technology and data analytics, and strategic consulting to deliver above-market growth. Our work spans multiple channels (D2C, marketplaces, retail media, social commerce), multiple products (managed services, advisory, and tech/tools), and multiple markets.
The Role
We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join our Havas Market Account team. You will play a key role in driving growth and operational excellence for clients across the full connected commerce ecosystem — from Amazon (Vendor and Seller Central) to D2C sites, retail media networks, marketplaces, social commerce, and programmatic.
This is a hands-on role where you will own the day-to-day running of client accounts, define and deliver channel strategies, and ensure execution through close collaboration with internal teams. You'll also manage and mentor junior colleagues, bringing a combination of operational know-how, strategic thinking, and people leadership. Ultimately, you'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate the fast-moving world of ecommerce and unlock measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Ownership: Lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, resolving issues quickly, building strong relationships, and spotting opportunities to deliver long-term value.
- Planning and Cross Channel Strategy: Support the Ecommerce Director in developing multi-channel strategies across Amazon, marketplaces, retail media, social commerce, D2C, PPC and programmatic. Ensure plans are backed by clear objectives, well-defined roadmaps, and proactive recommendations aligned to client goals.
- Team Management: Manage executives by prioritising workloads, setting objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting their career development across ecommerce disciplines.
- Performance and Reporting: Own weekly and monthly reporting, turning data into actionable insights across content, retail media, PPC, and operations. Lead post-campaign analysis (PCAs) and use learnings to shape future roadmaps.
- Account Health: Track and influence performance across ecommerce channels, ensuring activity delivers against agreed KPIs while maintaining strong, healthy client accounts.
- Content and Operations: Review and optimise digital shelves across platforms to ensure clients have best-in-class content, while driving continuous improvements in ways of working.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including PPC, social, programmatic, and data analytics to deliver joined-up strategies and impactful results.
- Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with both clients and internal partners, aligning with media, strategy, and leadership teams to deliver unified approaches.
- Innovation: Champion a test-and-learn culture, piloting new tools, tactics, and formats to stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh growth opportunities to clients.
- New Business: Contribute to pitch work by gathering insights, shaping proposals, and showcasing Havas Market capabilities.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Strong operational knowledge of Amazon retail (Vendor and Seller Central) plus hands-on experience across other ecommerce and digital channels such as retail media, marketplaces, social commerce, SEO, and PPC a significant plus.
- A proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering against KPIs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing and developing team members, with the ability to coach and adapt support to individual needs.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into commercial strategies and clear client recommendations.
- Skilled in Excel and comfortable working with performance data.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a collaborative approach and the ability to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
