We're looking for a
Fabric Engineer
to join our Cambridgeshire Facilities Maintenance team based in Cambridgeshire.

Location:
Cambridgeshire

Hours:
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us).

What will you be responsible for?

As a
Fabric Engineer
, you'll be working within the
Cambridgeshire Facilities Maintenance
team, supporting them in maintaining safe, operational, and high-quality environments across a variety of public service buildings.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Surveying and assessing building fabric elements across multiple facilities to identify issues and recommend maintenance or improvements,
  • Supporting delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations,
  • Collaborating with site teams and clients to ensure smooth delivery of works and exceptional customer service,
  • Producing reports and recommendations for minor works, scoping requirements in line with contractual KPIs,
  • Ensuring all work adheres to statutory requirements and internal policies.

  • You hold a valid driving licence and are flexible to travel across sites,
  • You can work independently and manage a varied workload, including contributing to emergency response rotas.
