I work on behalf of an excellent secondary school based in West Wiltshire that is looking for a teacher to join the English department and lead classes across all key stages. The role will involve planning & marking your own lesson and working proactively with other members of the department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team. The position is a part time role however there is flexibility to make the role to be full time. The position would be perfect for any ETC who is looking to complete their qualifications and develop their experience and pedagogy or a experienced, seasoned teacher. For the right candidate the school will accept a subject specialist who has UK secondary school experience and knows the curriculum intimately. 

A successful candidate is positive and confident, has excellent curriculum knowledge, adores their subject and feels passion about sharing their knowledge and teaching children. You will be collaborating with other members of the English department and support staff. You need to be able to communicate clearly and consistently planned lessons that have a strong scaffolded plan and are differentiated.

In October 2022, the school attained an Ofsted rating of "Good", improving upon its previous "Requires Improvement" rating in April 2017.
