Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver(Trumping)to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Duties

  • Operate lorries for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with class 1 hgv vehicles.
  • Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
