Workshop Fitter

Hours for this role:

Job Purpose:

Plantforce is looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our expanding team of engineers.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team who take pride in delivering a first class service to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

·  Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs as required

·  Fault Finding on electrical and hydraulic equipment

·  Inspection work for equipment leaving or returning to the depot

·  Prepare, test and install plant attachments to machinery

·  Carrying out servicing works in line with manufacturers standards.

·  General housekeeping of work areas to ensure workshop and external depot are kept to a high standard

Skills and attributes:

·  Strong organisational skills

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

·  Good communication skills

·  Team Player mindset

·  Strong knowledge of plant and construction equipment required

·  Welding skills

·  NVQ in construction plant maintenance

Essential Requirements and qualifications:

· Right to work in the UK

· Full Driving Licence
