Overview:

Trent Lock Golf & Country Club is seeking a friendly and energetic Part-Time Bar Staff member to help support our food and beverage operations, events, corporate hospitality, and weddings. As a vital part of our team, you will provide excellent customer service, assist with the smooth running of our bar services, and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service at the bar during regular hours, events, and special occasions.

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks.

  • Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organised.

  • Assist with event setups and breakdowns, ensuring the bar and hospitality services run smoothly.

  • Greet guests, take orders, and serve drinks efficiently and courteously.

  • Support the team in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.

  • Handle cash and process payments in line with club procedures.

  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service and cleanliness standards.

  • Assist with stock control and inventory management.

  • Provide support at weddings and corporate events as required, offering a high standard of service to all guests.

  • Maintain knowledge of club services, promotions, and menus to assist guests with queries and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bar or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential.

  • A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Knowledge of basic cocktail recipes and drink preparation is a plus.

  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction from supervisors.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
