We are looking for Community Based Support Workers with experience supporting vulnerable individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and related needs. In this role, you will support people in their own homes and in the community, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life. If you have a positive personality, a genuine passion for care, and the right skills, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities

You will provide person centred support that reflects each individual's care plan and personal goals. This includes assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, maintaining a safe and clean home environment, and supporting with household management. A key part of the role is supporting people to access the community safely, attend appointments, engage in activities and build confidence in everyday life. You will administer medication as required, ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, and support the individual in a way that promotes comfort, reassurance and emotional wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Good spoken and written English

  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities or similar needs

  • A warm, confident and approachable personality

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car is strongly preferred due to the community based nature of the role
