We currently have two exciting opportunities for fluent Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools in Llanelli and Carmarthen, supporting learners in vibrant Welsh-medium environments.
About the Roles:
We're looking for enthusiastic, confident individuals to join our team of Cover Supervisors, with immediate opportunities available in:
- A Welsh-medium secondary school in Llanelli, and
- A Welsh-medium secondary school in Carmarthen.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Supervise and engage students during lessons
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students stay on task
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a focused learning environment
- Encourage participation and support individual learning needs
- Commit to safeguarding and pupil well-being
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written) - essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- A proactive, adaptable approach to working across different subjects and school settings
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Experience working with children or young people (in a school or other setting)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through us)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
