The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites.Our Cardiology team provides a wide range of outpatient care for patients who have a high risk of heart disease. We provide diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and preventive care. Our focus is to provide compassionate care to our patients and their families in a community setting, while utilizing the latest technology in diagnostic testing and treatment strategies. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease. We have a large team of cardiologists who are all board certified with over 90 years of combined experience. We offer a wide array of services to care for even the most complicated patients.
We are seeking a Full Time 40-hour, NP to support our Cardiology Clinics in Upton and Chestnut Hill. Our clinics are located at 236 Milford St. Worcester Street in Upton and 300 Boylston Street in Newton.
The NP will support the practice's panel of patients enhancing practice operations, increasing patient volume and efficiency while also providing excellent patient care and experience. With this model, providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team.

Job Summary
Job Description SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation.

Essential Functions
-Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population in the ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural setting
-Performs complete histories and physical examinations
-Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests
-Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings
-Consistently provides high quality and timely documentation including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes and discharge summaries
-Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population
-Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures
