Job Description
This course gives you an opportunity to complete some Cyber Security Fundamentals training as well as digging deeper into Programming and Networking. The course provides you with approximately 30 hours of learning which can all be completed in your own time through the IBM portal. There are no formal qualifications at the end of this course.  

This self-directed online course uses IBM's SkillsBuild platform to introduce a range of concepts in cybersecurity, followed by practical modules on routing, basic programming, and use of Linux tools to assess vulnerabilities across a network.

The course is available and accessible after signing up and is taken at your own pace. We estimate candidates will require around 6 hours to complete the Cybersecurity Fundamentals package, and a further 25 hours for the remainder.

Our Pathways programme is tailored for members of the Armed Forces community, providing accessible, remote learning opportunities. With no costs to learners, our courses offer a valuable pathway to professional development. This course provides an IBM badge of completion and practical understanding of hacking and penetration testing concepts.
