Shunter| PM

Logistics done differently.

Do you have a Class 1 licence? Are you an experienced Shunter? Are you looking for a full-time job? XPO is currently recruiting for a full time, permanent HGV Class 1 Shunter at our site in Edlington, Doncaster. You will be working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday on a 1400 to 2200 shift.

We're looking to offer an hourly rate of £16.31 per hour, and overtime at £24.47. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Move vehicles around the site ensuring they are in the right place at the right time
• Take vehicles to the garage for MOT or repair
• Assist in load strapping and securing
• Play a key role in our site team ensuring our operation runs as smoothly as possible

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Experience in a similar driving/shunting role is highly desired
• A Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement)
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR endorsements.
• Flexibility with working both days and nights is essential.
