Operations Supervisor – Tomago NSW

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety. Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our team in Tomago, NSW. This is your opportunity to play a key role in driving performance, ensuring compliance, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

As the Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of transport operations, ensuring service standards and contractual KPIs are met. You'll lead a team of drivers and schedulers, manage fleet and resource planning, and foster strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities and duties -

  • Lead and allocate resources to meet service standards and operational targets.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Drive safety-first culture and ensure compliance with transport regulations.

  • Manage fleet bookings, driver rosters, and operational communications.

  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a collaborative and capable workforce.

  • Conduct investigations, audits, and toolbox talks to maintain high standards.

What You'll Bring -

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry.

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of NHVR guidelines, Dangerous Goods regulations, and fatigue management.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MTData, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.

  • Dangerous Goods handling experience and relevant licenses (including Driver's License and Unsupervised Handling License).
