We are opening a beautiful small setting in Hatfield Broad Oak, taking children from 1 years to primary age, up to 20 children per day. The setting is open 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

We have an exciting career opportunity due to expansion. The position is for a full time Level 3 or above Nursery Deputy Manager to work at Blossom Barn Nursery, 40 hours per week.

At Blossom Barn, we feel it is important for staff to spend time with the children, therefore we ensure staff do not have lots of paperwork. We feel family and work life balance is important and therefore do not require staff to take work home with them.

Rates of pay for all positions are dependent upon experience and qualifications and will be discussed at the interview stage.

Purpose of post

  • Helping the manager with ensuring a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for all children in the nursery
  • Supporting the manager and team to ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
  • Supervision of and support to the team members within the nursery, thereby implementing high standards of quality practices
  • The day-to-day management of the nursery including quality improvement, marketing and administration in the managers absence.
