JOB TITLE: Head of Resilience, Security & Data Privacy – Fixed Term Contract
SALARY: £124,650pa to £146,600pa plus an extensive benefits package.
LOCATIONS: Leeds, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Halifax, Hove. Manchester, Newport.
HOURS: 35 hours, full time.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at any of the above hubs.

About us
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Consumer Relationships (CR) Controls Office as the Head of Resilience, Security & Data Privacy on a secondment basis to cover maternity leave. In this vital role, you will lead a team of specialists dedicated to protecting our customers and supporting the security and resilience of the wider Group.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable professional to shape and drive our resilience and security strategy, make a real difference to our customers, and contribute to the ongoing success of the Group. If you have a strong background in resilience, security or data privacy and a passion for building robust business operations, we would love to hear from you.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and delivering effective resilience, security, and data privacy plans for our business unit.
Ensuring ongoing compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Embedding risk and control management frameworks across Consumer Relationships.
Holding the CR view of the risks for Data Privacy, Business Continuity, Information, Cyber and Physical Security and IT along with key drivers, mitigating actions and controls position.
Collaborating with colleagues across the division and wider Group to strengthen our security posture.
Providing subject matter expertise on resilience, business continuity, incident management, security, application management, and data privacy.
Staying up to date with the latest internal and external threats and proactively responding to emerging risks.
About you
Strong knowledge of Operational Resilience landscape in Financial Services
Understanding of key material risks (i.e. IT, Data Privacy, Physical Security, Information & Cyber Security)
Supported by a strong understanding of Risk & Control management
Incident, Business Continuity and Crisis Management
