Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Legh Street in Warrington.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Greater Manchester, The Wirral and surrounding towns and is located in a Health and Welbeing Centre. It has a strong relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:
  • It dispenses 2000 items a week,
  • It provides a wide range of services including blood pressure, NMS, pharmacy first, Weight Management, flu, covid and contraception.
  • It provides services to 40 substance misuse patients and 1 care homes).
  • It dispenses 99 community blisters.
This pharmacy is open 8.45am - 6.15pm Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm Saturdays and 5pm - 10pm onSunday.

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 2 pharmacy assistance and a team leader.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
