Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Halal Technical Auditor to join our dedicated team based in our Leicester office. You will conduct Halal certification audits and ensure Halal compliance at manufacturing sites throughout the UK and Europe.

No prior experience in Halal certification is required
– we provide comprehensive training in Halal standards and auditing techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Halal certification audits assessing manufacturing processes, ingredients, storage, and handling practices.
  • Review technical documentation and production processes for compliance.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and review client feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams to efficiently manage certification processes.
  • Support continuous improvement in compliance and auditing practices.
  • Regular travel and international exposure.

Qualifications:

  • Essential -
    Degree in a scientific field (such as Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or other scientific fields)
  • Understanding Halal principles and a dedication to supporting the values associated with them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK, and willing to relocate to Leicestershire
