About The Role
As Key Account Manager (KAM) for Rare Liver Diseases, you will be the face of Ipsen for healthcare professionals and stakeholders across your territory. Your mission is to optimise patient outcomes by delivering a personalised, high-value customer experience and improving the patient journey for those living with rare liver diseases.
This is a strategic, field-based role requiring agility, collaboration, and a solution-focused mindset. You will work autonomously and within a high-performing matrix team to drive access, engagement, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with Ipsen's vision and local NHS priorities.
- Build partner-of-choice relationships with accounts, leveraging insights to deliver value-based solutions.
- Navigate hospital and ICB access pathways to secure local market access.
- Understand and optimise the entire patient journey, collaborating with stakeholders to improve care pathways.
- Engage and develop HCP advocates to drive change in patient management.
- Orchestrate an omnichannel customer experience and ensure timely CRM updates.
- Work proactively with cross-functional teams to act swiftly on account developments.
- Ensure compliance with Ipsen's Code of Ethics, ABPI Code, and NHS guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical specialty care (hepatology and/or rare disease preferred).
- Proven success in sales and business management, including launching new medicines and driving uptake in complex markets.
- Strong knowledge of NHS environment, market access, and patient pathways.
- Life science degree (or higher), ABPI qualification, and full driving licence.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Currently living within the territory (East Midlands, Yorkshire).
