Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative interior concepts, creating detailed design plans, and collaborating closely with clients and contractors to bring visions to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial spaces, utilising a range of industry-standard software and design techniques. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical skills, excellent project management abilities, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and project specifications.
- Create detailed drawings and visualisations using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Prepare presentation boards and mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers throughout all phases of the design process.
- Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, colour schemes, and finishes that complement the overall design concept.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and construction standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative technologies to enhance design quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in interior design or related field; a portfolio demonstrating previous work is essential.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop), and CAD software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of construction processes and building codes relevant to interior spaces.
- Excellent visualisation skills with the ability to produce compelling presentations and technical drawings.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A recognised qualification in Interior Design or Architecture is preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates. This role offers an engaging environment for creative professionals eager to shape inspiring interiors while working on varied projects across the industry.

Pay: £28,697.47-£32,000.00 per year
