The Threat and Incident Response Manager, assigned to a specifc client, leads core global incident management and threat response activities for the client's Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC), focused on property, infrastructure, travel risk, and emergency/crisis response. This leader ensures robust 24/7 operational resilience, continuous service improvement, and management of a high-performing, multi-country team. Partnering closely with an Intelligence Team, the role delivers seamless incident management informed by threat intelligence, while maintaining distinct lines of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide daily operational and strategic management of the PSOC, including performance management, coaching, development, fostering high morale and a culture of accountability.
  • Oversee and coordinate all physical incident response and escalation globally (including infrastructure failures, power/network outages, natural disasters, and travel incidents).
  • Lead the PSOC's role across the full incident lifecycle, including preparation for post-incident reviews and implementation of lessons learned.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours management on-call rotation.
  • Lead travel risk management, including assessments, pre-travel mitigation/training/briefing, and proactive outreach, working closely with third-party travel risk provider during escalations or evacuations.
  • Develop and promote travel security awareness initiatives for the client globally.
  • Act as primary interface to the Intelligence team, ensuring real-time intelligence informs incident response without duplication
  • Collaborate on refining intelligence frameworks and joint threat/incident processes.
  • Liaise regularly with regional Security Leads, Facilities, IT, Business Continuity experts, and senior leadership
  • Act as role model for collaborative, cross-functional teamwork, supporting cross-training, business continuity integration, and confident communication during critical events.
  • Develop, document, train on, and ensure compliance with Security Operational Procedures, standards, and statutory obligations, including setting/monitoring KPIs and overseeing audits, gap analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Drive rapid process improvements, technology enhancements, and change management initiatives based on lessons learned, review findings, emerging risks, and best practices
  • Lead monthly optimization sessions and annual reviews to champion innovation and continuous improvement.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, International Relations, recognized professional qualification in security or risk management. Membership in a professional body (ASIS, Security Institute) or minimum of 5-year relevant work experience within similar role.   • Substantial incident management experience in property/infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with financial services/critical infrastructure clients.
  • Experience leading multicultural, geographically remote teams.
  • Knowledge of advanced physical security technology integration.
  • Demonstrable travel risk management and crisis response expertise.
  • Ability to build and motivate high-performing, diverse teams, in-person and remotely.
  • Ability to drives and manage operational and procedural change, ensuring effective adoption.
  • Proven crisis management and incident leadership skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management across business areas, vendors, and regions.
  • Flexible, effective in dynamic situations, and focused on rapid problem-solving.
  • Ability to develop and embed clear, modern business processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across senior and operator levels.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems (PACS, CCTV, alarm) and standard IT packages.
