Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant experience, with a flair for providing exceptional guest services. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented attractively.
  • Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is essential.
  • Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Experience in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction is advantageous.
