Methven Primary School Nursery
Methven Nursery require an experienced Early Childhood Practitioner (ECP) to join our established team.
You will be engaging positively with our youngest learners and their families on a daily basis, upholding our Methven values in our everyday practice.
Skills & Experience RequiredThe ECP role at Methven Nursery will require the successful candidate to have a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and be competent in planning stimulating learning experiences for 3-5yr olds and assessing their progress within this.
You should have a very good understanding of the early development of children and how best to support all learners, including those with additional support needs.
We are seeking a new team member with excellent communication skills who is willing to contribute fully to the work of the team and who will be confident in using their initiative and offering new ideas to enhance best practice.
You should be nurturing, and have a genuine interest in the development of young children.
You should be open to engaging in training opportunities to continue your skills development.
You should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.
