PowerNaturally is a leading renewable energy specialist, designing and installing air and ground source heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, MVHR, and underfloor heating systems across the South of the UK. We are MCS certified and known for engineering-led quality, technical integrity, and excellent customer service.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a Heating Engineer or Heat Pump Installer ready to take the next step into a technical sales role. If you're great with customers, enjoy problem solving, and want to move off the tools into a higher earning and long-term career path, this could be the ideal role for you.

The Opportunity

This role is perfect for someone who understands heating systems and wants to transition into a consultative sales position. You'll use your technical experience to guide customers toward the right renewable heating and energy solutions—not pushy sales, but honest technical advice backed by engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to customer enquiries and survey properties (remote + site visits)
  • Qualify jobs based on technical suitability and customer requirements
  • Provide guidance on ASHP/GSHP system design, solar integration, cylinder sizing, heat loss basics
  • Explain system performance, running costs, SCOPs, and payback
  • Work with our design and estimating team to produce proposals
  • Build trust with homeowners and businesses through technical credibility
  • Manage your pipeline using our CRM, with full training provided

What We're Looking For

Background in heating engineering – ideally someone who has installed or serviced air source or ground source heat pumps

Understanding of heating system design basics (pipework, emitters, heat loss, controls)

Excellent customer communication – enjoys explaining technical things simply

Looking to grow professionally and move off the tools

Self-motivated, organised, and commercially aware

Full UK driving licence

Bonus skills (nice to have):

  • Solar PV / battery knowledge
  • MCS experience
  • Plumbing & heating NVQ Level 2/3
  • Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi, NIBE, Samsung, or Stiebel systems
