N Security Ltd are recruiting Street Security operatives to work in Ashby De La Zouch Town Centre and Coalville Areas.

The Street Security operatives will be patrolling, and will play a vital role in the prevention of crime and reduction of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) incidents. You will work as part of a team, liaising and supporting the Police, Street Pastors, and NWLDC.

You will play a key role in assisting with Town Centre night time economy security patrols, communicating with the Police and Door Supervisors of the pubs and clubs and will also work under the direction of the CCTV controllers.

You will be working 6hr shifts 10pm to 4am the following morning, 2 days per week on a Friday and Saturday (12hrs per week).

Uniform and Equipment will be provided.

All training will be provided.

What we are looking for you to do:

  • Conduct foot and mobile patrols of the area in accordance with management instruction

  • Build strong working relationships with night time economy staff

  • Assist the Police and NWLDC in reducing ASB incidents and Crime Prevention

  • Being highly competent at conflict management and capable of dealing with incidents

  • Maintain high standards at all times

  • Work alongside our CCTV controllers, taking direction from them as required

  • Proactively engage with the public

  • Be overt, proactive and a high visible presence and deterrent

  • Have good personal appearance and clean uniform

  • Be able to produce incident reports

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence

  • Complete company vetting procedures, including a DBS check

  • Look smart and professional

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Be reliable and trustworthy

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Knowledge of the area is desirable but not essential

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
