We are looking for a driven commercial leader who can deliver projects that maximise profitability and trading performance across all product categories across our BSS and TF Solutions brands. This role will play a lead part in shaping commercial strategy, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring our teams have the tools and confidence to succeed.

In this pivotal position, you will define and execute commercial excellence projects that drive improved sales, stronger margins, smarter cost control and well-structured incentives. You will support Commercial, Sales and Operational teams by embedding best practice and ensuring our commercial administration is efficient and service-focused.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering commercial improvement initiatives that boost margin, sales and cost efficiency
  • Leading targeted incentive schemes tied to trading goals
  • Supporting category strategies and action planning to improve performance
  • Ensuring outstanding commercial support to branch networks that meet agreed service levels
  • Contributing to supplier negotiation and engagement strategies
  • Managing and developing a small high-performing team
  • Working with leadership teams to enhance commercial development

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in Category Management, Sales Management or Project Leadership with a proven record of delivering commercial results
  • Strong commercial judgement supported by robust analytics
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership capability with a coaching mindset
  • The ability to work at pace with confidence, flexibility and ownership
  • A customer-focused approach combined with creativity and innovation
