Join Poets Bakery this festive season We're a 100% gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free bakery with vegan options, looking for someone experienced in customer service or retail who understands coeliac and allergy safety. Must be over 18, flexible, and have own transport for markets in Birmingham, Worcester, and Harborne.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service
  • Handlepayments and operate tills/POS systems accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organised stall
  • Follow strict hygiene and cross-contamination procedures
  • Support with setting up and packing down stalls as needed
  • Represent the Poets Bakery brand professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience (essential)
  • Strong understanding of coeliac disease, cross-contamination, and allergy awareness Ideally coeliac or with personal experience living gluten-free
  • Confident using tills or POS systems
  • Must have own transport and be able to travel independently to markets in Birmingham, Worcester, and Harborne
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings during the festive period
  • Over 18 (insurance requirement)

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: £12.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
