I have an opportunity for a talented Devops Engineer to develop and maintain automation for deployments. You will primarily be working on an exciting road map for a new platform, all while being a part of a thriving global team
This role is based a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Cheshire East.

The day to day focus of the role…

  • Develop and maintain automation for deployments
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions for streamlined provisioning
  • Validate infrastructure scalability and reliability through testing
  • Configure applications for optimal performance
  • Transition workloads to high-availability setups
  • Manage database deployments and configurations
  • Conduct load and stress testing to ensure capacity readiness
  • Set up monitoring systems for applications and infrastructure
  • Investigate and resolve incidents efficiently

Expertise required…

  • Proven experience in automating deployments and managing configuration at scale
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Aurora), networking, and cost optimization
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Strong Linux administration skills
  • Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
  • Awareness of security best practices for web applications
  • Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
