Position Summary:
The Director of Digital Marketing leads Aman's global digital marketing strategy, overseeing all paid, and social channels to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across digital touchpoints.
Responsible for global digital performance, this role manages Aman's digital ecosystem — including perforamnce marketing, social media, and emerging digital platforms. The Director collaborates across Brand, Content, and E-Commerce to deliver integrated digital campaigns, enhance audience engagement, and ensure Aman's digital footprint evolves in line with guest expectations and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Channel Leadership
- Define and execute Aman's global digital marketing strategy across paid, owned, and social channels, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial priorities
- Oversee budget management, strategic planning and calendar management for paid campaigns, content amplification, and audience development
- Lead global governance for digital channel standards, ensuring visual, tonal, and experiential consistency
- Identify new digital platforms, partnerships, and innovations to extend Aman's reach and engagement
Campaign Development & Content Integration
- Partner with Brand and Creative teams to develop digital-first storytelling and content distribution plans across performance marketing channels
- Oversee implementation of global digital activations and brand campaigns, balancing awareness and conversion goals in line with budget
- Collaborate with regional teams to localize content and adapt digital strategies for key markets across paid channels
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Oversee measurement and reporting of digital KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion, and ROI that perforamnce intiatives have driven
- Oversee the global performance marketing budget, guiding allocation, pacing, and investment decisions to ensure efficient spend, measurable ROI, and alignment with Aman's commercial priorities
- Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations for content, channel, and audience strategies
- Govern Aman's digital analytics tools, ensuring accurate tracking, data integrity, and compliance with privacy standards
- Benchmark Aman's digital marketing performance against competitive luxury brands and best-in-class digital experiences
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor Aman's Digital Marketing and Social Media teams, setting direction, priorities, and quality benchmarks
- Partner with E-Commerce, CX, and Brand functions to ensure digital marketing supports broader marketing and commercial objectives
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to deliver digital excellence across all campaigns and platform.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and capability-building across Aman's global digital marketing function
Qualifications:
- 12–15 years of experience in digital marketing, content, or channel management within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or retail sectors
- Proven success leading global digital marketing strategies across owned, paid, and earned media
- Expertise in digital storytelling, audience growth, CRM, and data-driven optimization
- Strong understanding of digital analytics, campaign measurement, and martech ecosystems
- Experience collaborating with creative, content, and e-commerce teams to deliver integrated digital experiences
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with fluency in luxury brand storytelling
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
