-tier, ranked regional law firm with an exceptional reputation across the South Coast. They're looking for a Family Lawyer or Legal Adviser to join their growing Southampton office.

This position offers the chance to work alongside recognised experts in the field, managing a broad range of privately funded family matters. It's an ideal role for someone who values both professional growth and a supportive team culture.

The Role

  • Manage a caseload of private family matters including divorce, separation, financial remedies, and children cases.
  • Provide sensitive, practical advice with a client-first mindset.
  • Draft and prepare legal documentation and court applications.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers to enhance technical and client-handling skills.
  • Support business development and build lasting client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

  • NQ-5 years' PQE with experience in Family Law.
  • Exposure to privately funded work preferred.
  • Confident communicator with empathy and discretion.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with a desire to progress.
