Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while checking on guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  • Experience in a restaurant environment is preferred, with a focus on guest services.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • A passion for hospitality, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and team members.
