ADR Driver

ADR Class 2 DriverWe're looking for a versatile and safety-focused ADR Driver to join our specialist logistics team. You'll be responsible for the secure transport of hazardous goods, including lithium-ion batteries and solar panels, across the UK.A typical day starts between 5–6 AM, with 1–2 deliveries to engineers in the morning, followed by a trunk run between our distribution centres. Our people are what make us greatLocation: Slough, Bedford Avenue, SL1 4RYSalary: £46,352.19 per annum (DOE) + overtime + benefitsContract: Full-time, permanentShifts: Monday–FridayEssential skills required:Valid UK Class 2 (CE) licence.ADR Licence (minimum: Class 9 – Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances, with Packages preferred).Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.Previous experience with hazardous goods transport (batteries/solar panels desirable).Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and excellent customer service.Ability to work independently with a professional approach. Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport ADR-classified goods (e.g. lithium-ion batteries) to and from customer sites.Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards.Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations at all times.Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests, waste transfer notes if required).Provide a professional, reliable service when representing the company to customers and site contacts.
