About the Role:

Beep Beep Cars Ltd is an independent, family-run dealership based in Durham, known for our quality vehicles, excellent customer service, and trusted reputation across the North East.

We're now looking for a skilled and dedicated Master Technician to join our growing aftersales team. This is a hands-on role for someone with technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering first-time fixes and high-quality workmanship.

You'll take a leading role within our workshop, helping diagnose complex faults, guiding other technicians, and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

The Role Includes:

  • Taking a leading position in the workshop and providing technical guidance to other technicians.
  • Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Performing advanced repairs, servicing, and diagnostic work on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Carrying out Video Health Checks and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior technicians to improve skill levels and workshop performance.
  • Ensuring a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workspace.
  • Maintaining accurate records and following all company and FCA compliance standards.

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a Master Technician or Senior Diagnostic Technician (any manufacturer background welcome).
  • Can diagnose and repair complex faults confidently.
  • Has pride in their work and is driven to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Works efficiently and with excellent time management.
  • Communicates clearly with customers and team members.
  • Is enthusiastic about learning and embracing new vehicle technologies.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
  • (MOT testing certificate desirable but not essential.)
