Overview
We're looking for a
Yield Improvement Coordinator
to support the Ambrosia team in improving production performance and efficiency. This 6-month temporary role will focus on reducing waste, improving yield, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify mass balance data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Lead and facilitate wastage meetings with production teams, highlighting key issues and driving actions to improve yield.
- Work directly on the production line with the operations team to optimise running conditions and enhance performance and yield.
- Collect, track, and analyse data to identify trends, losses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and technical teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Apply Continuous Improvement tools and techniques (such as root cause analysis, PDCA, and 5 Whys) to deliver sustainable improvements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress and key findings.
- Help build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across production areas.
About You
- Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with data to identify and communicate opportunities.
- Hands-on and proactive, comfortable working alongside operations teams.
- Good communicator who can engage and motivate others.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel or other data analysis tools
